Due to the electrical nature of the equipment we cannot guarantee our ability to film in adverse or extreme weather conditions. In such circumstances we will still make every effort to film and capture audio to the best ability we can.

Audio & Lighting

We make every effort to produce a quality film and ensure all of our equipment is of the highest quality and regularly maintained. We employ several back-up strategies for sound and vision however, we cannot be held responsible for any lighting, sound or interference issues caused by circumstances outside our control. This includes camera/equipment failure, adverse lighting, noise issues and restrictions imposed by venues.

Context Weddings are not responsible for dark or grainy video resulting from inadequate lighting at any locations, or electrical or mechanical malfunctions on location that are beyond our control.

Context Films require that either the groom/bride wear a lapel microphone for the ceremony and where possible those who are making toasts or speeches.

Every effort is made to ensure perfect colour and lighting reproduction, but certain conditions may not be accurate such as mixed indoor and external lighting, hard shadows, and low lighting conditions. With these factors beyond our control, we will endeavour to produce the best image possible.

We use our professional expertise and discretion to ensure that significant parts of the day are recorded. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to record every aspect of the day as filming takes place 'live'. In the case that a particular segment of the event is either not recorded, partially recorded, or not a part of the final edited film, it is at the sole discretion of Context Films Ltd.

If something occurred at the wedding that the Client does not want to appear on the final film, the Client must instruct Context Films Ltd in writing before post production begins.

It is understood that Context Films Ltd are the exclusive Videographer retained by the client to cover the outlined event. Any conflicts with other video coverage contracts and any notifications necessary to avoid such conflicts are the sole responsibility of the client.

We aim to be as discreet as possible during the day and work alongside the official photographer. We follow the events of the day as they happen and therefore, are not in control of the setting. This may lead to some images being in high shadow/contrast or partial/temporary obstruction of subjects being filmed or issues of low/mumbled/no sound. We may be unable to take footage if the official photographer is not willing to allow filming when they are working.

Whilst we aim to film as much as possible during the day, we cannot guarantee a minimum/maximum amount of footage that will be taken on the day or a minimum/maximum length for a couple’s film, this is due to the ‘live-event’ nature of the day and the unique structure of each individual wedding.
